Projektet tager afsæt i vandtårnets særlige arkitektur og markante efterklangstid. Det store cylindriske rum og de reflekterende overflader fungerer som integrerede akustiske elementer, der former og forlænger det fremførte materiale. Lyd, resonans og rumlig perception er værkernes centrale omdrejningspunkt.

Placeret i overgangen mellem vinter og forår – og sammenfaldende med det nationale valg på selve dagen – kredser TRANSITION om tilstande af forandring.

TRANSITION presents two site-specific performances by ensembles from RMC (Rytmisk Musikkonservatorium), taking place at Brønshøj Vandtårn.

The project engages directly with the tower’s distinctive architecture and its extensive reverberation time. The large cylindrical space and reflective surfaces function as integral acoustic elements, shaping and extending the performed material. Sound, resonance, and spatial perception form the core focus of the works.

Positioned at the threshold between winter and spring—and coinciding with the national election on the day of the event—TRANSITION reflects on states of change.
